By submitting samples into the 2024 Denver Shroom Cup, participants hereby affirm and represent that they are at least 21 years of age. Participants further acknowledge that the samples submitted are solely for personal use and not for distribution or sale. Participants understand and agree that Altitude Consulting LLC is not licensed by the State of Colorado to conduct testing on natural medicine. Participants assume full responsibility for ensuring their compliance with all applicable state and local laws and regulations.
Growers and extractors are required to submit all samples through the online portal by August 30, 2024. For the Psilocybe cubensis biomass and non-cubensis biomass categories (excluding amanita), only whole mushrooms are acceptable; ground samples will not be considered. If there is reasonable suspicion of sample manipulation, Altitude Consulting LLC reserves the right to deem a sample unfit, in which case a replacement sample may be requested. The entry fee for the competition is $50 per sample, payable before sample submission. Participants are allowed to submit up to five samples per category (e.g., five Psilocybe cubensis biomass samples, five Psilocybe non-cubensis biomass samples, etc.). There are 17 medals available in total. Below, you will find the competition categories and the required sample amounts.
The winner of the Mushroom Cup will receive free psychedelic potency testing for up to 2 samples per month for one year, a value of up to $2400! This prize covers standard potency analysis only and is non-transferable. Any additional samples or specialized tests will be charged at our regular rates. The Grand Prize winner will be the participant who wins the most amount of individual categories.
